Ammo in Lehigh?

I feel like this must be somewhere on this forum. However, either I'm terrible at locating such a thread or the search feature here is weak! So forgive me if this has been discussed before.

I live in Allentown and am just now joining the ranks of handgun ownership (which I am very excited about!), and I really have no idea where to pick up some 9mm rounds to put down range.

So, Lehigh, I ask you: Where do you buy your ammunition?

try that gun shop at 401 main st Walnutport ,PA i think its Keifers Gun shop - a tiny gun shop on the corner .

I'm pretty sure that Kiefer's closed a few months ago. Try Boyer's Hardware (Main St, Slatington), Walmart in Whitehall (they have had a decent amount of asst ammo in stock the last week or two- more than I've seen in a while) or Army Navy (Grape St, Whitehall- I refuse to go there because of their major attitudes).

Walmart up on macarthur in Whitehall. (as previous post said) they usually carry a decent selection of ammo...(for being walmart) I always am in there OC'ing and I always pick up 12 gauge ammo.. To bad they don't carry 45 GAP ammo. but normally they have a shit ton of 45ACP and 40.S&W and 9mm.

Army Navy on Grape street near the mall. They usually have a deal on Winchester whitebox...

Dicks sporting goods on 145 north of the mall has decent prices on ammo. (I don't recall if they sell pistol ammo though)

I usually hit up the Wally World (any where) for practice handgun ammo.

either walmart, trexlertown (last night, 100ct .223 rem. for $40)
or cabelas, they do have some good specials. 500 .22lr for $24, nice wooden box too.
