Going to Harrisburg

I’m coming out to “The Gap” to work Strykerland for a couple months and we are staying in Harrisburg.

We are plannig on doing a group AR build while we are there. I’m bringing stripped lowers and we are getting kits once we are on ground. It’s there any problems with ‘black rifles’ in PA? Nothing fancy is planned, straight up carbines and full-length rifles.

Where are public ranges for rifle and pistol?

I’m thinking also of bringing out a pistol if there is local USPSA or steel plate shooting.

There is no problem with EBR's in Pa.

The only free public ranges are at State Gamelands.
3 rnds in a rifle, 6 rnds in a pistol, plus lots of hood rats to deal with.

I'd suggest linking up with a group from one of the local gun gun clubs, the nearest one to the gap is Palmyra Sportsmens Association, if you get a group of guys from the club should have no problem getting everyone on as a guest. Enjoy "strykerland" are you guys coming out for maintence or to run more stryker nets.
