Lower Bucks? Morrisville? Rifle ranges
Brand new to the area, used to live in Philly and only shot my rifles out west in Arizona (Family is out west). Now I've moved my long arms here to my new house in Morrisville. I'm looking for rifle ranges in the area. Is there any longer ranges available, that can accommodate say 500 yard shooting? If not, anything at least 300 yards local?
I wish there was an easier way of searching ranges...everything is vague and websites are not always informative.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Langhorne Rod and Gun Club (membership club) has a 200 yard range as their longest. I'm not aware of nearby rifle ranges but others are more familiar.

As far as I know there is nothing in the area offering what your looking for. The two mentioned are as close as it gets. Now, Williamsport PA. has a 1000yd. range. A bit of a drive, 2, 2.5 hours away. I don't know what the Falls Gun Club has to offer but it's the closest club to you. Last I heard there was a waiting list to get in. Sorry the news is disappointing, but it is what it is.

Falls will not be taking in any new members until at least the summer. Go to their web site and fill out the application to get on the list. www.ftrpa.com
It is well worth the wait. Only other suggestion is Langhorne. I don't think they have a wait list. New Holland has openings I believe but they "only" have up 600 yards.

Re: Lower Bucks? Morrisville? Rifle ranges
Back in the old days at Wicen's when the brothers ran the place they'd let me shoot diagonally From the pistol side to the far end of the rifle end. The berm used to be L shaped. Now with all the new set up, controvery and such, I wouldn't even ask. But I'm ok with that. First, it's Joe's range, it's Joe's rules. Second, their right....it creates a political problem to have anything even remotely considered unsafe.

Langhorne isn't accepting new members yet. They are filled to capacity.
