Lets talk about wadcutters...

Seems everyone here is talking abiut .38Cal..............actually Cirillo loaded
.357 Mag, .41 Mag, .44 Mag and .45 ACP with his wadcutter design. In the .45 ACP he added a nylon conical head for auto loading that just flew off the cartridge as it left the muzzle. All one was hit with was the wadcutter.

Sorry I can't show the Pics in the book but just imagine a copper clad wad cutter with a sharp collar extending out beyond the front of the shell case with a channel cut completely accross and into the cartridge face.

The round just peals open like a banana during penetration to about 1" in diameter.....Nasty.

Even at Alibris.com, "Guns,Bullets, and Gunfights" is $10.89, and the latest one, "Jim Cirillo's Tales of the Stakeout Squad" authored by Paul Kirchner is only <GASP!> a paltry $98.22.

I wouldn't mind reading those, but for the price, the latter one will remain in the bookstore, unless someone has a copy at about 85% off list.
