I did the mag adjustment (bend out), mag is much easier to load now, I will post how it does once I get to the range. If if fails, I will send it back and let them fix it.

If your mag is giving you problems, you should use a clip instead.

These experiences are typical of Hi-Point.

Wow, I'm proud of you guys!

This is one of the first HP threads that didn't degrade instantly into HP bashing storm. Well done. Someone looking for help and they got it. As a HP owner, very happy one btw, I think this is/was the correct approach - no need to make anyone, especially new (or financially strapped) team mates feel bad; let's just focus on the problems, right?!

After all, one only needs to drop in on any glock, xd, ruger, S&W, sig site and see, from time to time, those mechanical devices have issues too.

Look real hard for used Glock 19, study up on that model. You have the Hi Point so all you need to do is the read up on your model.
Compare and decide, one may save your life, one may be a cool range gun. Only you have to be comfortable. Be safe and informed Mtn Jack

Talking Re: hi point c9 jamming

Thanks for the replies, got the c9 back from hi point yesterday. Going to the range on wed or thrus, will update then. It only took about a week for them to fix and send it back with an extra mag or clip. Will update after range trip.
