I have to say this is my favorite thread. It's so cool to see how versatile the AR-15 is (One of the reasons it's my favorite rifle). BTW do you guys do request? Does anyone here have an AR-15 .45 carbine? Something with a short barrel like 10 inches, with A2 sights and maybe a red dot sight (Mounted to the A2 sights preferably)? The .45 has a decent amount of kick and I imagine a short AR-15 chambered in this caliber would be more accurate, have a higher magazine capacity, and the recoil would be more tolerable compared to a .45 ACP pistol. Sounds like a perfect home defense weapon or a SHTF weapon.
