Re: Post your AR with pictures here!
Well since my AR is just a boring Colt/ Knights/ Aimpoint I'm posting a picture of my lady's AR dressed in pink M4 furniture.
It's a full DTI CL kit on a DTI lower. Once she saw the pink furniture, I just had to build it for her.
It's actually molded pink, not a duracote.
I researched where it came from, thinking it was Calvary Arms but it's not...
It actually has the Rock River Arms logo molded inside the grip but I've never seen pink furniture from them.
At any rate, it doesn't matter... she likes it and is a good shot so it was worth it.

mine when she was stock, straight from the gun shop, she was an M&P 15 sport, the one with no dust cover or forward assist.

Re: Post your AR with pictures here!
my 300 blackout build. Keeps getting changed around. Now I am just waiting on a tax stamp so it can go on an SBR diet. Rifle shoots great, is stupid quiet, and ultra reliable. Just pretty freakin heavy. It has now worn a Trijicon tri-power, an eotec, (512 iirc) and currently a T-1. Still not convinced any of them are the right optic for this rifle. Leaning towards a 1-4 next. Everyone should build a blackout.

Re: Post your AR with pictures here!
I wish it was as simple at putting pink on a gun to get my girlfriend to shoot with me. She hates pink guns. I saw these same parts at a gun show this past weekend with my mom though and she got those excited big eyes. This after she shot my M4 for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it. I told her I could build her one but when I told her how much I spent on mine, she lost interest.
I love this thread. So many sexy rifles. It makes me want to build another one.

Re: Post your AR with pictures here!
My winter project and my first build. Armalite lower, spikes enhanced lpk, st2 buffer and tube. Magpul CTR stock. Upper all daniel defense: BCG, 16" lw 1-7 middy, low gas block, 12.0 mod forend, sights. Bravo charging handle. Primary system flash hider. Just under 7 lbs. with 20 rounds. Started last fall. Added parts as sales, availability and funds presented themselves. Have put a couple hundred through it the last couple days and it functioned flawlessly. Shot the 55 gr surplus and my handloads well. Today it really seemed to like my 62 gr loads. Although I got impatient half way through I am now glad I put the entire deal together. Rock on.Last edited by cephas; January 16th, 2016 at 09:10 AM. Reason: weight

If you don't paint your rifle, you may be tempted to sell it some day!!!
Nothing fancy, built it so the wife can have a light ladies rifle when we go out. Shoots really smoothly, and accurately, I'm quite impressed actually.
I STILL hate that "sproingggg!" noise every time I shoot though... Never got used to that.TANSTAAFL! (There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch!)
