My Franken AR with my 2 other favorite guns. It started as a stripped lower and over a period of time I put it all together. The only thing I had done by a gunsmith was putting the barrel on (didn't have the right tools and didn't want to buy them lol) and the Jard trigger.

ER, how ya liking the new Aimpoint? Looks pretty sweet. I like how the kill-flash can be flipped too along with the caps. Does it mess with your eyes or screw up your sight picture at all?

I actually really like keeping the killflash in place while shooting. It's not dramatic, but it helps the red dot be a bit more visible on dim settings just because looking through makes it just appear a little darker. Makes the dot kind of "pop" more. When you focus on the target, you don't actually see it, it's just a blur, as if the glass is tinted very slightly. Hard to explain, you'd just have to look through one.

I will say, when you use the iron sights, the killflash, in my opinion needs to be flipped up. It makes it too difficult to get a nice clear front sight post. That's why I got the flip-up version and not the screw in one.
