Is the 6920 a 14.5 barrel? They all look great.

Both the 6920 and FN are 14.5" barrels. Something about that length, they outshoot my 16.1" barrels

My spare parts build 9mm AR

    IMG_20190127_171130007.jpg

Old FDE A3 upper from previous .300 BLK build
Pistol lower used with 3 other uppers
New KVP barrel and bolt from keepshooting.com
    New 9mm 7.5oz buffer
New Strike Ind. port door (easy install, really)
New 3 pack of Mean Arms Endomags
Old FDE Magpul MBUIS from previous 5.56 builds.
Other tan accessories acquired after realizing how much fun this gun was and wanted to keep going.

This thing is FUN to shoot. The only problem I had was the trigger pin walked out and jammed FCG. Fixed it with Ebay anti-walk pins. I wanted to try 9mm again, but didn't want to get too deep into the money pit.

This thing runs great, the Endomags work without a hitch, and even lock the bolt back after the last shot. I have about 500 rounds through it at the moment. I need to clean it.

Since this is the only FDE/tan gun I have, my wife can easily identify it as 9mm. No forward assist needed as the bolt isn't cut for it. Someday I'm going to put a plug in it, just not too worried about it right now. The Caldwell bag is to collect my empties, as I reload, even 9mm.

I have each of mine a different color for much the same reason - easily identified in a hurry.
    22LR - 5.56 - 9mm - 7.62x39
Wife wants me to label all my mags so she knows what goes in what rifle, but that's too much work.
The only one that I'm likely to mark is the 7.62x39 - I may paint them the color of the rifle.

All these years and I never really considered a color system to identify, ammo, mags, guns. I'm picturing the ease of quickly finding the right mag in the giant box-o-mags, more easily grabbing the right ammo can etc. I see a world of color in my near future.

One of the simplest methods I've seen is the mag bands.
Cost may be prohibitive though for those with stockpiles.

My guns are different colors. Most are 5.56, so no issue identifying mags for those.
The 9mm mags are pretty obvious that they're 9mm, so no need to identify them.
I can easily identify the 7.62x39 mags because they have a more pronounced curve in them, but I don't have many, and marking/painting them would remove all doubt as to what rifle they go with.
22LR mags are pretty obvious too - at least to me. The wife may not recognized the difference immediately though.

Color is very easy to do these days, there are several AR boutiques that specialize in several flavors of anodizing. I got the handguard off of Ebay, again just to try 9mm, and wound up more than pleased with the results- so I'm going to leave it on. Here's another place: https://www.tacticalgalaxy.com/rifle...r15-parts.html

Luckily, I already had the three Pmags in FDE, rarely used them as I have plenty other Pmags in Black, OD, and Foilage. If I get more (more like WHEN) EndoMags, I'll get more FDE windowed Pmags, just to keep it easy.

I really wish Mean Arms would make the EndoMag for the 40 rd Pmag... Or even for the D-60!

Glad to hear your experience with the EndoMags. I have 6 of them waiting for me to finish my first 9mm build. I have an Anderson lower and slick side upper, Kaw Valley bolt, KAK 9mm buffer, Shockwave Blade & tube, Right to Bear Arms enhanced trigger, and Magpul BUIS sights etc. Still need to get a barrel and a handguard. Planning on a Macon Armory 8.5" barrel. I'm also doing mine in FDE.
