Correct. I like to stay 100% legal.

Maybe try shooting it a bit and try to see where your hand placement seems most natural to see if an AFG may "line up".
Or just order one - they aren't that expensive. Don't like it? Sell it.

I plan on adding a small hand stop to mine. (7" handguard)
I tend to hold mine at the mag well. I don't do that with my carbines, but the pistol feels better gripping it there.
The hand stop is more or less a precautionary thing in case my hand should wander forward just a wee bit too far.

Magpul D60s look pretty intense on these. I imagine the surefire 100 round magazines would be the longest thing protruding from the receivers 😁
