I haven't posted in here in a long time but figured I'd post this one since I was out shooting.
Though it's far from perfect, it's my interpretation of the US Navy MK18... but in lefty

Oh, FYI, 26.1" end to end so the VFG is ok.

    Hey! I know you!

Nice. What's in the slot on your Blade? Some sort of sling mount?
I want to add a sling to my pistol but I'm still looking into options.

It's actually just an easy/ cheap way I mount my sling.
I don't like the 1" sling points on the brace (you can see I cut off the top loop).
It's an old bipod mount I got years ago and haven't used in forever so decided to work with it.

    This is what it was:

I used the sling stud and that rectangle washer which, btw, fits perfectly in the brace's recess.
Drilled a hole through the brace then used a washer and nut to mount up the stud.
A little blue locktite and it's good to go.
Cheap, easy, and removable if needed.
I have a QD plate on the receiver so one day I may swap the stud for a QD mount but who knows.

    Here's the other side:

And a better look of the back side:

Cool. I was thinking of buzzing that attachment point off teh top of mine too, but figured I'd decide how I'm going to use a sling first.
It does work to run a sling with a buckle as opposed to a mount.

    My PSA Mid length currently

Midwest drop in quad rail, magpul stock/grip/trigger gaurd/forward grip, Primary Arms Advanced Micro RDS, Primary Arms 1/3 mount, Daniel Defense A1.5 rear sight, Primary Arms 700 lumen weapon light with ring mount, Vickers Combat Sling

Rifle shot a 2.5" group at 100 with the irons when I had a carry handle on it, have not done any accuracy test since then. Rifle has been great though. Fit is a little loose but that does not bother me as it doesn't effect function or reliability. Rifle has been 100% reliable. 400 rounds or so through it, nothing crazy.

Finally took the plunge and bought an AR10 from Live Free Armory. This is just a photo from their page of one with a 20" barrel. Mine will look similar, but have an 18" barrel. I had to get one before November, just in case.
