I probably should have started a separate thread, but since several have commented already, I'm going to ask...

Anyone hear of this place? (below)
Not sure if these are their own barrels, or outsourced. I did a search for reviews and see nothing.
I was looking at "Red X" barrels, but when I did a search a whole bunch of bad reviews came up on multiple gun forums.

This barrel looks to be close to what I'm looking for at a decent price of $149. Not polished, but not bead blasted either.

Never herd of them, only thing I don't like is the 1/9 twist. I prefer 1/7 or 1/8 as I like shooting 69 and 77grn bullets. I'm sure the 1/9 is fine for most applications as most people shoot 55-62grn bullets.

Stick to the faxon for that price. It's a mid length better twist and probably lighter. That one is a carbine with the 1/9. The faxon will be a better shooter

Ahh, yes, I missed that. Thanks.
Was talked into going with a midlength since its' for my wife to shoot and I will stick with that requirement.

Faxon IS the lightest and cheapest, but doesn't seem to make what I'm looking for though. (shiny)

He lightweight I build is for my wife too. The faxon is the best combo you can get for lightweight recoil and a decent twist. I looked. I'm in this thing a lot of money so cutting a corner on the barrel wasn't something I even considered. Once j started digging in to it I found that the faxon a got great reviews.

    Here you go em

If my math is right it's 4 lbs 1 oz as it sits. I'll give a parts list later. The barrel just showed and I'm going to have to shim it to time the comp.
lots of 2a armament and v7 weapon system parts. No polymer receivers nothing like that

Cool. Will be interested in "the list".

My LPK is a "house brand" from Tom's Tactical, but I upgraded to the Nickel/Teflon hammer/trigger, so mine will have a "silver" trigger as well.
Waiting for the lightweight BCG to come back in stock at AIM. As far as "budget" lightweights go, they seem to have the best price at $109/$119 depending on finish.
