Probably a stupid question but, are magazines for AR-15 universal? I plan on getting a stag arms 2t and was wondering if like a magpul pmag would fit. kind of swapping out the magazines.
    Thanks

No such thing as a stupid question.

I believe most Ar mags will fit almost all ARs

Magpul magazines will fit your Stag. The only thing you need to consider is when using AR15 mags on foreign guns that are also chambered in .223. Magpul makes the E-mag that will fit into other non-AR-15 .223 rifles. If you don't want to spend the money on the Magpul P-Mags at very least get some Magpul followers for your standard AR mags, it will aid in loading and will help prevent jams and many other mag-related issues.

I will say, though, that the P-mags are a solid investment. I deployed with P-mags, had them filled with just about everything nasty, and still haven't had a jam yet (magazine related, at least). They are easy to clean as well...if there's one product I say you should get for your AR, it would be the P-Mag.

+1 They work well, won't scratch up your brass, and are easy to clean if you need to.

P-Mags fit my Stag lower just fine.
