    It's only a few blocks from the school to Dutterer's.

    I'm pretty sure that it's more than 1000 ft. I think it's at least three blocks north and another block or two west from the school. But, don't quote me on that. I'll try to drive that way before Sunday.

    Sounds good. Just curious, because I'd be walking, and that eliminates a short-cut, so I'd have to walk down 194 and then turn on 97.

    I thought (not sure if I'm right) as long as you have an LTCF you just can't carry on school grounds. I didn't think there was a 1000 yrd rule. Anybody else know for sure?

    With a LTCF, yes, the 1k ft. rule is moot, he doesn't have a LTCF, he's only 18 yo.
