Smile 8 Shot N Frame Smith and Wesson Speed Loaders

I found this on another forum and wanted to pass it along. A company now makes 8 shot speed loaders for the Smith and Wesson "N" frame (627, 327, 27 family). The speedloaders are made from aluminum and run about 20 bucks. I have just ordered a couple and cannot yet comment on their quality.

This is great news for wheel gunners, as the previous option was either a 70 dollar speed loader or full moon clips.

Awesome, any idea if it's compatible with the Taurus 608?

are these twist loaders, or push button loaders? i have a speed loader, but it doesn't fit my 642, or the Taurus 85UL i had. it's been collecting dust; i've been using speed strips.

These are twist. Safariland makes the push speed loaders.

I know, these just became available and now there is a bit of a backlog as of yesterday. My 327 R8 is going to have a couple...

These are also made in America.

    "speed strips."

Now there is an optimistic appellation! Glad to hear that there are 8 shot speed loaders for the N-frame. Although I can't see the use for a 8 shot N-frame unless one is an ICORE shooter? What do you guys use your Ns for?

Everyone I know with one shoots ICORE and/or steel and all of them use moon clips. I have a 7 shot 686 cut for moons that I run in ICORE.

Moon clips being significantly faster than speed loaders I don't foresee a large market, but perhaps some. Wish the manufacturer luck.
