Re: Southwest PA TEA Party
Will there be a "Death to Social Security" sign?
I would think people drawing on it now should have had time to plan for retirement. Also, they didn't live during the Great Depression or World War 2.
I don't think anyone in my generation in their right mind will count on seeing it.
Any responsible person should have either funded their retirement or lived a full life.

Without exception, everybody I know upon turning age 62, signed up to receive monthly bennies. They all took the early retirement option to starting getting checks. To me, all that is some younger person's confiscated earnings.
A number of the people mentioned who took the early age Social Security retirement deal consider themselves to be arch conservatives. These are the same guys that for years have been screaming about socialist hand outs and being under the government's control. They're just a bunch of frigging hypocrites.
For me . . . they can keep their Social Security checks. All I want from government is to just leave me alone.

It was a pleasure to meet you, PennsyPlinker. I wish that I had more time to chat, but I was rather busy handing out Daryl Metcalfe flyers.
Proud friend of the Noble family.
