    Default Nambu Ammo

    Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy 8mm Nambu ammo ? I think I read somewhere lately that no one makes it anymore. I still have some, but I'm thinking toward the future. I believe that I bought the last from Midway. Any ideas?????

I'll wager Quality Cartridge has it; they seem to have every oddball I've ever looked for:

This guy I think is the best...

    http://www.mrnambu.com/

Dude is sort of creepy, but I heard great thing about him and his ammo through several Japanese gun owners.
He have 8mm Nambu(which is odd/hard enough to find), but he also have 7mm Baby Nambu(which is even harder to find), and even super oddball 9mmJap for Type 26 revolver as well.
And I believe he also reloads any jap brass you have(provided that its reloadable condition)

    Give him a line.

P.S. Do you have Type 14 or 94? Post some pics! I love Japanese guns!

Hey guys.....thanks so much for all your help.....it looks like I'll be able to buy some after all !!!!! They ain't cheap, but what can I say !!!! For MITY 2.........I have a type 14 Nambu, made in Oct. 1943 at the Toriimatsu branch of the Nagoya Arsenal. My Dad bought it home from WWII for one of his buddies, but they never got in touch with him. It laid in the top of their bedroom closet for years, Dad wasn't interested in it !!! So when I was in my early thirties I became interested in it and really looked it over good. It seemed that the firing pin was broken, so we ordered one from Midway Arms plus some ammo and I fixed it !!!! Dad and I went out to the back yard, slammed a loaded mag in it and it went boom......just like it was supposed to. That was a great time that I will never forget !!!! Thought that you might enjoy the story !!!!
