Default Firedragon conversion barrel-.40s&w to 9mm

I ordered this conversion barrel last May and there was a goof up in the ordering process. I almost canceled my order but Franki at EFK said if I kept my order she would have them personally fit the barrel to a Sig P229.

So I didn't cancel the order and my barrel finally came today and let me say its great! My Sig P229 is now 3 guns:

    .40 s&w, .357 SIG and 9mm

You don't need to switch the magazines to shoot 9mm, which brings my factory .40/.357 mags that usually have a 12rd capacity up to 15rds of 9mm.

I cycled a full mag by hand and it worked flawlessly, I can't wait to try this barrel out at the range.

I also opted to get the 13.5 X 1 LH threading for future suppressor applications.

This barrel seems like a top quality product thus far and comes with a lifetime warranty.

    Chemical,

May I ask what that set you back? Also, do they make drop in barrels. (Ie .45 for .45). I'm looking to get a threaded barrel for my 220r but Sig wants 230+15 for a thread protector.

I absolutely love the way that looks.

Damn I need a 226/229. You, 1blindref, runningfast are helping matters much with your pictures and words of encouragement.

to get it threaded in 13.5 X 1 it costs $236 and change for the conversion barrel (after shipping), but a regular size barrel is $150.99. they make a lot of stuff, including guide rods.

Basically, take the price of the barrel you want on their site and add $60. for threading.

    here is their website:http://www.efkfiredragon.com/

    here is their sig 220:http://www.efkfiredragon.com/proddet...prod=SS22045SB

Thanks for the info. I'll have to keep it in the Favorites Tabs until the funds become available.
