    Exclamation Scotia range road?

Has anyone been out to scotia in the last week? Specificly can anyone comment on the condition of the road coming from the Gatesburg side? Still snow covered? Passable in a front wheel drive car? I might be heading out tomorrow if the roads are passable.

I used the back road both on Monday and in this morning. The road condition was quite good. No snow whatsoever was on the road. There were many puddles on Monday, a few less today... But otherwise it's not muddy. My Ford Focus had no trouble negotiating the road, so your car should do fine.

I went out on Saturday and the road was completely clear. There were only a few small potholes and you shouldn't have any problems driving on it.

I went on the Gatesburg side.

Other than isolated patches (which are melting fast), there isn't snow cover on the ranges. Not even on the skeet range.

The rifle range was... should I say, swampy. There were lots of ankle-deep spots of water, and even patches of ice in the shaded area. This was mid-day today. The pistol range was ok. The shotgun patterning range was quite dry. Not sure about the skeet or the aux range.
