Default Part of Patriot Act ruled unconstitutional

Hey folks, this is fantastic news. I'm not entirely sure why it didn't get more attention. Then again, I have been lagging behind the current events of late.

I found the article at Raw Story but it is an AP article.

It would seem that the Judge found the portion of the Patriot Act that allows for the collection of private information without a warrant and gags the holder of the information from saying anything. Obviously there are a number of Constitutional issues here, like Due Process, and the Judge's opinion that it violates Freedom of Speech.

    GOod find man.

You cant really blame our legislators..

its not like they actually read it before they passed it as a law.
