Check local gun shops for used mags. I've bought 5 used Glock mags from a local shop for about half the price you'll find anywhere online.

They may be out of G19 mags at the moment... but just a few weeks ago I bought a bunch of them. I seem to remember they were around $19ea for brand new factory mags. $30-$40 is a complete ripoff.

As far as the 33 round mag goes... it's good for target but otherwise not practical... until a zombie outbreak anyway.
I have a G27 but picked up a 9mm conversion barrel for it. Of course I got the factory 33 round mag as well. It works pretty well with only a few feeding issues, but I don't know if it's the mag or the barrel. I tend to thing it's the barrel (lone wolf). It's the only 9mm Glock mag I have so I can't compare the 33 round to a standard cap mag.
I'd say go for it if you find it for a good price.

CDNN gets my vote as well. Good prices and fast shipping. Check out the cheap ($9.99) Korean mags too. I picked up a couple of them for range use, and they have performed as well as the factory mags.

Re: where to buy glock 19 magazines?
You don't necessarily need to specify Glock 18. Any 9mm Glock magazine will fit, as long as the magazine isn't made for a smaller model. Meaning a Glock 19 will take a 15, 17, 19, or 33 round magazine, but not a 10 round mag. A G26 however, can take a 10, 12, 15, 17, 19 or 33 round magazine.
