Re: Moving to Lancaster maybe
Thanks for the info, I'll let you know when we get things sorted out. Who knows, I might move in next door.

E-Town isn't to bad, although I'd prefer the Lampeter-Strasburg area. I graduated from L-S and have had no complaints. Really the schools to stay away from are the city schools, Donegal, and Columbia.

Born and raised in Lancaster. I go back to visit family and friends. You couldn't pay me to live there again!

Rural will always be better. Stay away from the city schools, they are getting really bad. Rent will be cheaper in rural areas too!

Come down to the southern end. When you hear shooting it's either a block shoot, hunting, target shooting or someone protecting their property. Not gangs shooting randomly with their stolen handguns sideways. Like the city.
I'd rather be judged by twelve than carried by six!

Re: Moving to Lancaster maybe
Yes as previously mention I would avoid the inner city at all costs. The schools are overcrowded and there is no parking plus the crime. And the cops who dont give a crap about the criminals and would rather hand out tickets to working people.
With that said ( you can tell I live in the city) I would suggest Penn Manor , Hempfield , or Manhiem, even Manhiem is getting crappy.
Keep us posted new neighbor !!
