Yes. A license/permit from ANY other state is good within a vehicle. Outside the vehicle you can only carry openly. You cannot carry in Philly with only a OH permit. Also, you are not protected from the federal GFSZA - so, you'll have to stay at least 1000ft from any school.

A PA LTCF is $25 from the Centre County Sheriff.

    Pro2a

PA recognizes all 50 states for vehicle carry.

the OP would not be able to carry concealed outside of his car. out of his car he would be have to open carry.

To reverse this... does the same apply in Ohio if I have a CCW permit for PA?

No. OH's laws only allow for reciprocal licenses.

Your OH license will cover you to carry in a vehicle, openly or concealed. Once you get out you must be carrying openly. To drive through a school zone in PA with only a OH license you'll have to have the gun unloaded, in a locked case, in the trunk, with ammo separate just like any person would be required to do if they do not hold a license issued by the state in which the school is located.

A PA LTCF is $25 from the Centre County Sheriff, and is issued by mail(til next year), and is issued usually within 2 weeks - sometimes within 5 business days from your mailbox, back to your mailbox.

    You really should.

Even though there is obviously a lot of knowledge here about the peculiarities of the law, you're still likely to get a lot of hassle from a LEO. They're likely just to know that PA and OH do not have reciprocity, and assume the rest from there.

I had even forgotten about those provisions until the people above were able to cite them.
