I've used Ballistol on blackpowder guns for years. Personally, I think Ballistol smells like Hillary Clinton's pantsuit on an August day in Georgia, but it does work pretty well for cleaning up blackpowder fouling.

My quart of Mobil 1 20W-50 is only about 1/4th the way down in the last couple of years. Looks like I'll be well into retirement before having to buy another one. All of my guns have never looked, or ran better. Bill T.
