Default Done shootin' - dirty weapons thread

Yep! That's right! Let's see your post shooting filth! Round count doesn't matter. And it's not a competition just for fun. Can be whatever you just got done shooting. But that's basically the idea. You go shooting, you come home and - oh boy. A bunch of dirty guns to clean up. Let's see them before you clean them.

*This is not a thread for how much you neglect your weapons. I'm not condoning that.*

    I'll start!

Two Romanian's (PSL) and AK 47. And a Glock 26. I put about 80rds through the PSL, 200 through the AK, and about 200 through the Glock. It was the 26's first outing. No problems.

I don't have any pictures yet. I'll probably take some soon.

In any case, Beretta 391, close to 3k rounds without cleaning. So far, 1 FTF. Happened last weekend during sporting clays at Elk Creek. I guess it's time for a cleaning.

Hahaha! I was about to post about liking to clean guns if you do it after shooting 200 rounds, but I think that sums it up pretty good.

I do like the idea for the thread though.

I am just kidding BTW. I've been accused of "overcleaning" since I take my stuff apart and clean after each trip to the range.

I had a Savage .22LR that I didn't know how to take apart. After each trip to the range, I would pull the receiver off the stock and drop it into a can of kerosene. Then I would work the action until it was spotless. As far as I have ever seen, .22LR semi-auto guns are the dirtiest and require the most maintenance. Shotguns may be as bad but I don't shoot them as frequently. I'll start getting dirty pics so I can participate.

Yes. I clean everything I shoot after each trip out. The PSL shoots corrosive ammo, most of the AK ammo I have is corrosive whether it says non-corrosive or not on it... (as I found out the hard way once now) And I shot Pakistani SMG ammo out of the Glock which is also potentially corrosive. (Yay 6# striker spring!)

If you personally leave corrosive salts sit in your guns - you are more than welcome too. I don't.

More pics! Less discussion! Let's see your dirty weapons!

But if you clean them how can you say. (Opps I need a new Gun because for some reason this one does not work right.)
