    Default CZ 75 owners

Has anyone thought or has a problem with the slide take down lever/pin on the CZ75 protruding on the ejection port side, it always gets caught on the holster when holstering the gun.

Not a problem when un holstering but it annoys me, so I thought about filing it down a bit to see if it helps I would try and order a new one just to have the original untampered with. anyone tried this?

I haven't had a problem with mine but it sounds like you have a good plan. If I were having a similar problem I'd spend a few dollars on a new pin and give it a try, it just might fit a little better and fix the problem without any filing. If filing is required you'll have the option.

I know what you mean, my pistol has the same "problem". I suppose you could pare a little off the protruding part. However, remember to put a bevel on the edges so it will be "insertable" when reassembling.

I imagine is protrudes so far so that it can be disassembled with only a hard surface to push on it, rather than needing a punch to push it out?

Yes I was thinking of making it like a dome protruding just enough like the take down pins on an AR15.

I just took a look at my CZ75SP01 and although the pin does protrude a bit it doesn't seem to interfere with the holster, at least not that I've noticed.
