    Default Shooting in Jim Thorpe

    http://www.mcall.com/news/local/all-...,7174542.story

That was my Dad that got shot He's the homeowner.

He's going to be OK though; I just got back from LVH.

I posted this because I turned on the TV news and the local station had the story completely backwards. I don't want to elaborate on what happened but it seriously fucking pisses me off that these news channels will put out a story with absolutely no intent of getting it right. At least the newspaper version (see link) kept it ambiguous.

    Thanks.

I've calmed down a little now. Alcohol is good for that...

Anyway, I know this is going to be discussed and I just didn't want people going off on some BS story they saw on the TV news.

Personally, if the news stations were off by major points or information, tell them to fix it. If they don't want to, a lawsuit may suffice. They have the right to free speech, not the right to slander/defamation.

Hope your dad recovers quickly. Haven't heard about this in the news, or maybe I just missed it.

When they catch this pos, they should let you have him. I'm sure you could get some help.
