    I'm going to try and get to one of the shoots in Slippery Rock later on this year. Anyone been there before? It's .22lr only correct? Anything special I should know about the shoot there or the range? Thanks.

    This weekend there are 1,042 shooters preregistered for Appleseeds at 72 different venues in 38 states.

    Eventually, this WILL make a difference...

    i know the appleseed is rain or shine but what they are forecasting i think goes beyond rain. from what i am seeing locally heavy down pours and some strong winds and possible tstorms ...........

    We're still on for Audubon tomorrow. had 10 good shooters today.

    Last April the Porta-Potties BLEW AWAY.... and we kept shooting.

    Yes, we'll stop for lightning or if we see the tornado.

    Some people don't like the extra challenge, but some do. Who are we to deny them?

    Excellent point, Chainsaw.

    I would like to see a return of High School and Collegiate shooting sports and the Boy Scouts may be an engine for that route. Imagine a nation of well trained riflemen not members of the armed forces but free men bearing arms in a most productive manner.
