    Default IDPA Three Gun Rules

I really haven't seen a set of rules for IDPA three gun. I might be going to one next month and I was wondering what the exact rules are for the rifle and shotgun.

    1. How many rounds max for the shotgun?

    2. Can I use a 20ga? That's all I have right now.

    3. Can you stow AR mags in your concealment vest?

    4. Do you need a sling for your AR? If they mix up pistol and rifle together I'll need a sling so I can carry both.

    5. Shotgun sling?

    Any info would ba appreciated.

    Here's all I got....

Doesn't sound nearly as much fun as USPSA 3 gun....

Although...local clubs often have "house rules" when it comes to multigun stages.

There was a long discussion on the IDPA Forum about three gun, non conclusive last I saw.

Where is the IDPA 3-gun? Might give it a try!

Thanks for the info guys. I just emailed the match director and asked him what the rules were.

The shoot is at Tioga County Sportsmans Association in Owego NY

It's on Saturday May 29th and they are only taking 50 experienced shooters. They just want people who have some kind of IDPA, USPSA....ect. experience. The cost is $60. If you want the match directors email send me a pm and I'll give it to you.
