Local holster maker? (Bucks)
I need to buy two leather holsters and two leather dual mag pouches. One IWB rig for a Commander sized 1911 and one "outside" holster for a full sized.
My wife and I prefer to buy locally manufactured goods and appreciate custom work, so I am asking the good folks of the PAFOA forum for any references.
Any assistance that you could provide will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks,
jcw

Thanks for the tip!
These guys only seem to make Kydex holsters, though. On the Kydex front I generally prefer Fist, Inc. Not local, but still a small company.

These 3 PA guys make great stuff. Their current backlog makes the wait a bit long though. Sherricks's site says 12 months. I'm not sure about Barranti. Bulman could be a couple years from what I read on some forums.

KPW:
I am 1 year into my 2 year wait for a knife from John Horrigan... Long lead times are usually worth every minute's wait.
Thanks for the help!

I hear ya! I waited over a year for an Alessi and 2 years for an HBE rig. The difference was I knew the Alessi was going to be a long one. The HBE order was supposed to be 4-6 weeks. Eric at HBE has straightened his business out now and I'd order from him without a second thought now. Barranti is more known for his western and field rigs but he has a number of classic styled carry rigs too. His custom stamping is what makes me want one...or two.
