Source of bulk FMJ Pistol Bullets
What is a good source for cheap bulk pistol bullets? I'd be looking for 147 gr. 9mm & 230 gr. .45
Also, what are some cheap sources for cast bullets? I prefer FMJ, but if I can't find FMJ cheap enough, I'll shoot cast.

Re: Source of bulk FMJ Pistol Bullets
For what you're looking for I'd go to cast bullets. You'll never wear out a barrel with cast bullets and they do most of what jacketed bullets do. You're not talking velocities over 1000 fps so cast should work fine for your purpose. That is unless you have a Glock as they warn against using cast bullets. I know someone will chime in that they use cast bullets in their Glock all the time but I defer to the manufacturer on this.
Google "cast bullets" and you'll come up with a bunch of bullet casters. Compare prices and shipping costs so you get the price to your door. Many casters ship Priority Mail as this is economical compared to other methods.

Re: Source of bulk FMJ Pistol Bullets
While not exactly FMJ, www.mastercast.net sells their own cast lead bullets with what they call a Total Copper Jacket. This is a thinner layer than a fmj and is a quality product. Fwiw, I use their cast lead bullets in 9mm and .45 acp. Nice product, nice people.

http://www.precisiondeltasales.com/
115 gr FMJ 9mm- $68/1k
124 gr FMJ 9mm- $72/1k
147 gr FMJ 9mm- $84/1k
230 gr FMJ .45- $114/1K
Free shipping and you have to order 2k at a time. Cheapest place I have seen yet for FMJ bullets. They are even cheaper than Berrys plated bullets.Any vote for a third party is a vote for a Democrat. You are the enemy.

if you decide to go the cast route, I've dealt with them in person but never mail ordered from them. But they have a great product at a good price.Tim , USAF Ret.
