My concealed carry permit applictaion was denied???

Wouldn't most of his prior charges be expunged after 5 years since he was under 18 when he was charged with them? I was reading another ltcf denial post on here where someone said the charges could be expunged after 5 years if the said person was not charged or arrested in the 5 years following.

In the Commonwealth of Pa. if you are arrested, & fingerprinted, that record stays with you forever even if you were never convicted, or charges dropped, I know I,m going thru this right now, Expungement is not auto-matic and MUST be applied for, PERIOD, the first thing to do is to get a copy of your RAP sheet (record of arrest and prosecution) and that tell you exactly what the offense is, if you pleaded guilty, then bend over for a lawyer,

That's not true either. My buddy completed his probation last year for a dui that he pled ard for and recently received the paperwork saying the charge was expunged. He never applied for it nor retained an attorney.

I believe it is tru, when you buddy went to ARD he had to apply for that, It,s not given to you, but that,s beside the point right now, I,m trying to tell him how to find out what he has to fight (appeal) for DUI is not a possible Poss. charge,

Then it would seem at first blush you have legitimate grounds for an appeal and your complaint. Do you intend to do whats required here after you verify your elidgeability for an LTCF and take the Sheriff to the mat over this ? The ONLY way this nonsense will stop once and for all is when the powers that be get smacked down enough that they wise up

the only charges I found on my record were 2 underage charges in 2003 (both summary charges) and a couple meaningless traffic violations for tint and stuff. The marijuana charge isnt even there. I did numerous searches. I am going to do everything in my power to make that sheriff look stupid.
