I would love to find a local source that reliably stocks any decent assortment of SD ammo. It's still can-as-catch-can in my experience. On the rare occasion I can find any at all, there are usually no choices to be had, there is just the one, and precious few boxes.

Right now I am carrying Remington Golden Saber, 230 gr, .45acp. All my mags are loaded with it.

I have Mrs Curmudgeon's Beretta loaded with CorBon PowerBall 185 gr, .45acp. The ball to ensure feeding, the 185 gr because she appreciates the reduced felt recoil, which the Beretta already manages incredibly well.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
