Re: Carrying Into The Wayne County Courthouse
Hmm... I could almost (not quite, but almost) understand why some rank-n-file cop might not be familiar with different models of common side arms (besides a double action S&W Model 10 revolver in .38 Special, just how much more common can you possibly get than a 1911 in .45 ACP?), but - being posted at the 'court' entrance (ostensibly to, um... what was it? 'check weapons'?) how the bloody-shuck did this guy not know that the pistol that he personally handled was not a 1911???
Unless this guy was intentionally feigning ignorance in order to 'chat you up', I find it inexcusable that he didn't know what the pistol was.
.Cogito, ergo armatus sum....Say that to my face.

It must have been you charming personality, and they way you articulated yourself, when you addressed him. he saw the error of his ways and now will be a petter person for haveing met you.
Really though I cant believe he would such a douchebag and prtend to not know a 1911 when he saw it.

Re: Carrying Into The Wayne County Courthouse
The first time I carried my XD to the court house the deputy ask me what model Glock it was. After I was done on the way out I showed him the difference. Oh, he also ask the caliber. I responded with ".45ACP, is there another"? His responded with something like, "I guess not".

Re: Carrying Into The Wayne County Courthouse
yes, it was that woman. she's quite easy on the eyes, as well as being very professional. the last time i went to the Dimmick building, another deputy, 40ish and mustached, was quite professional. this is the first time i had a problem checking my gun at a courthouse, anywhere.

Jah, you seem like a good guy. I've always liked the way you handle yourself.
Do you wear a necklace? Perhaps with a bird of sorts?
