Puma PPS22-Anyone have one?
I was in my local shop today and saw this gun.

It's a replica of the russian ppSh submachine gun. It shoots .22LR and it looks amazing. I love the sights and it feels really well balanced.
I've heard that the 50 round drum can get finnicky at times. Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this gun before I think about purchasing.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.I will permit it to pass over me and through me.

Re: Puma PPS22-Anyone have one?
These were once available from Pietta of Italy in the 80's, along with a Galil, FAMAS, AR, and AK. Their Papa-Sha came in nickel and blue.
Looked nice, but never trusted hi-cap .22's aside from old-skool tuber rifles. And their drums were supposedly quite fragile.
The re-release is just as nice, but now far more expensive. The up-side is that BlackDog Machine is now making various stick mags and a drum. And you KNOW his shiite WILL work.
I personally would get one - once the price comes down.
And FWIW, they are supposedly to use this as the basis of a .22LR "Sterling". Now that'll be kewl. All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

That inspirational pic is awesome. Thanks for the info. I saw that there is a collection of different mags, I've heard the 50 round drum gets better as you break it in.
