Rental Ranges
Are there any other ranges semi-locally (I'd be willing to go so far as Hanover, Harrisburg, Lancaster) aside from Freedom Armory that may be a little less expensive to rent a few handguns to test out? Isn't there a range somewhere along Market St. in West York (or in that general area?)
I'm looking to test out an M&P, XD/XDm, and some 1911s (full size and officer size).

Re: Rental Ranges
Isn't there an indoor range in west York that rents? I've never been there myself, and I've heard mixed reviews about the place.
Additionally, I carry a XD45 tactical (5" barrel) that you would be welcome to shoot. It's not an XDm though. While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Re: Rental Ranges
Well, that was the reason for the post....trying to find a range. I don't mind having to pay to either become a member, or to pay an hourly (or 1/2 hourly) rate. But not both. And then the gun rentals, and then the ammo.....maybe I just got a little sticker shocker for only wanting to test fire a few guns before I made a purchase decision....
Is there anything out your way?
Maybe I should wait until it's warmer....LOL....I am looking into joining the local IWLA since it's only 5 minutes from my house....

Re: Rental Ranges
The range I use is 30-45 mins. from me............
Hence, I don't get as much range time as I would like.....

Re: Rental Ranges
This place is close, and rather inexpensive.

I have not been to Isaac Walton, but I have heard only very good reports about the place. While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
