aimshot or sighmark Holo

Hi,

was looking to put a inexpensive holo sight on my saiga 12. has any one had experience with either the aimshot hgm2 or the sightmark ultrashot. would either of them handle the stress of a 12 guage?

I don't have experience with either of those but I will say this. A 12 gauge is going to recoil more than an AR-15 (.223/5.56) and I've seen cheap optics fail (glass came loose, screws came loose, didn't hold zero, etc.) on them. For your situation I would recommend an EOTech or an Aimpoint. Buy once, cry once.

After doing a lot of research and couldn't justify an Eotech no matter how hard I tried, I got an Aimshot HGM2 and have been very happy with it. It only sits on a PS90 right now though so I can't say how it will fare on a Saiga 12. All I know is that it feel very solid, looks great and not super chunky, 4 nice holographic reticules, and 1/5th the price of an Eotech. It doesn't hurt to give Aimshot a call to see if they have tested the sight on Saiga 12 and the likes.
