Who has Primers
Went looking on the internet for primers. Seems like everyone is out of stock. I thought the primer shortage was over, I guess not. Where is everybody getting them at?

Re: Who has Primers
My local guy is getting Federal and CCI but no Winchester. I'm not sure what he has in stock at the moment as he keeps most of it in the back room.
He does do internet sales and you can call him Mon.-Sat.

Re: Who has Primers
Just bought 3k on Friday from a local guy for $32/1000. They had Federal, (my personal favorite) Winchester, CCI and Remington.

Re: Who has Primers
I have found the wolf primers to be equivalent to Winchester primers.

If I were in your vicinity, I'd just call Clark Bros, in Warrenton for my first guess.
Of course, sales might depend on how many you want at one time.

Re: Who has Primers
I have purchased them for large pistol and small rifle (made for .223). The small rifle primers I only use in .223 for my AR and they have worked flawlessly thus far. I've used the large pistol primers for .45 ACP and have had several FTFs. They've all gone off with a second or third strike. The problem is that they are a relatively hard primer and sometimes the firing pin strike is not quite hard enough to ignite them. I don't have this problem with the AR because AR firing pins strike the primer very hard. I did have a bit of trouble seating the small rifle primers.
Bottom line is if there is nothing else in stock, I'll get wolf primers. Otherwise, I'll stick with federals.loose≠lose; you're=you are; 'your' shows possession.
