N R A also has a ' Pay as you go ' Life Member deal ... I believe I paid $ 50 per quarter year when I signed my sons up. Worked well for me.

" Q: I would like to become a Life Member of the NRA. Are there any payment plans available?
A: To fit the needs of most members, we offer the Easy Pay Life plan. Under this plan, members make minimum quarterly payments of $25.00 until the full amount of $1000.00 is paid. If you would like to get started or would like some more information, please contact NRA Life Member Services at 800-672-3888. "


Wow .. $ 1000.00 ... think it cost me about $ 200 when I signed up, and about $ 300 or 400 when I signed my kids up.

Might want to call them and see if they are going to run a ' Membership Drive ' .. occasionally they have a deal that a current member gets New Life Members at a reduced cost .. my friend did it for about 6 guys at Paletown maybe 3 yrs. ago and I want to say that it was about $ 300 for Life Member

Yeah, but this is a firearms owners website and not New England Literacy Club. So some may not respond so quickly
