Question Tactical ? related to Belt/Holster

Maybe a dumb question. I have been CC'ing for about a year. OWB. I am RH so I have been experimenting from 1:30 around to about 5:00.
I find that most of my pants have a belt loop a 3:00. Holster just in front or after is OK but not just right.
I started threading the belt thru the first holster loop then the pant loop and the 2nd holster loop.
Locks the holster really snug to my body and it is where I feel most comfort.
Besides it being a pain to thread is there any bad reason for haveing the holster hung this way? I am most likely over thinking this but the more I am on here the more I learn.

don't think there is a "right or wrong", whatever is comfortable to you. But for what it's worth, that's how I wear my OWB when I carry that way.

I do it the same way as you described. It holds it in place very nicely.

Same here when I carry OWB, most of my Jeans have a belt loop right at 3oclock, and if IWB I carry just past 3:30

I carry that same way. I don't think it takes much longer to put it on this way than any other way, and I find it's very secure. It does limit the range that you can slide the holster around while wearing, but I don't slide mine around too far forward or back so its not that big a deal.

I used to carry before and after 3o'clock in a galco leather holster. Some pants have loops a bit closer together and the holster was pushing on them both. Three broken belt loops later I threaded it like you said and found it to be much more secure.

I also havent had any further blowouts

That's the way I carry with a few of my holsters. It can be a pita threading your belt thru, but the gun needs to be where you're most comfortable using it.
