Re: Current LTCF turn times
5 or 6 days to get my police check card and then 20 minutes at the courthouse to get the license.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Lackawanna County on two separate occasions (1 for me and 1 for the Mrs.). Both times I walked in with the application and walked out 15 minutes later with a, still warm, LTCF.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Perhaps Chester county could get a few pointers from some of the other counties to help cut down on their times.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Mine took a month, but that was probably due to my "miscalculation" in my checking account when they tried to process my check. Here's the timeline:
06/06/2012: Applied for LTCF @ Chester County Sheriff's Office. This was 4 days after receiving my Temporary PA Driver's License on June 2.
06/15/2012: Realized that I overdrafted my checking account.
06/18/2012: Called Sheriff's Office and explained what happened. Apparently they tried it again and it went through (Sheriff deposited my check).
07/05/2012: Sheriff issued and mailed my License
07/06/2012: Received my LTCF in the mail! Whoo hoo!!Dave (Co-Founder & Moderator: Delaware Open Carry)

Re: Current LTCF turn times
I went to Chester County Sheriffs office 08/09/12 to give my application and pay the fee. Three more individuals walked in, for the same thing, as they were processing mine. Went pretty quick. The guy processing the application was an intern and was a nice guy to talk to. He told me volume increased significantly recently but said that wait time really had not. So here it starts. Will let you know when I get it.
