Re: Current LTCF turn times
I went today, and I was also in and out of there in just a few minutes. The deputy told me it should be 2-3 weeks, and he was a pleasant fellow. I'm posting this half so that I have a reference to the date.

I have to agree that the sheriff that assisted me was really friendly and got me in and out quickly. Chester County really handles the process well.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Turned in the paperwork last Friday, arrived today. The deputy had a problem with the signature capture device, so I had to go back in Monday to re-sign and they were very apologetic.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
I found these last few posts pretty funny. The deputy that helped me last week was very friendly too. I was inn and out in about 5 or 10 minutes. very efficient. He told me they were running about 20 days.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
I got a little chuckle because when I was in there, I was thinking the same exact thing as the previous posts... I found the guy to be very pleasant and friendly and I was a bit surprised. Then to come here and read that others thought the same thing as me gave me a little chuckle. Is that OK?

Of course. I absolutely agree with you. When I went in I was ready for the "once over" attitude which never surfaced. My bad.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
The only painful part of the experience was dealing with being in a city. Perhaps West Chester isn't really a city, but it's close enough from my perspective.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Thought I'd mention that I just got my LTCF today. Took about a week and a half. Quicker than I expected.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Must be getting efficient (ha!)
Anyways, Filled out app on Dec. 20th and received it today. It was actually issued on 1/4 but took 2 days to get here so either call it 15 or 17 days.
2 Holidays in there too so even more impressive.
I agree that the CC Sheriffs office made it a quick and painless process. Nice guys!Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
