Re: Current LTCF turn times
The application I filled out for a new license did ask for 2 references. Although I checked with both of them and they said they weren't contacted by the sheriff's department.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Went to the West Chester office today for my renewal, left carrying the card 5 minutes later.
Sheriff Welsh has been taking some heat lately from the newly elected Dems in power in Chester County. She has been a true firearms supporter and has a good staff of people.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Renewed my license to carry in 20 minutes including parking.
My coworker is a resident of Montgomery county & they would not renew his license on the spot, made him reapply as new & wait 20+ days.
Hilariously, when he received his license it was marked "renewal".

Same here... very pleasantly surprised.
I shall miss Sheriff Welsh (Chester County) when she retires this year.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Quick questions. How early can I apply for renewal. My LTCF expires in June. Can I apply now? Also, current LTCF was issued from Montco. Will that complicate renewal? Thanks.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Last one from Montco won't make any difference, you can renew anytime but I believe that it expires 5 years from renewal date, not five years from current license expiration date.
