Default Seeking NRA Basic Course/Pittsburgh area

I am seeeking a NRA Basic course to satisfy the requirement for a non resident Fla CCW license/permit. I split my time between NY and Pgh, and I am not licensed for a pistol in NYS. Therefore I am seeking to take the NRA course here in PA, during one of my many stays in the Pgh area. Any NRA courses near PGH?

I'd forget the Florida non-resident and go for a Utah non-resident. More states and you only have to take a class. PLUS, the renewal is cheaper. $10.00 vs. $117.00.

Utah has a bill in their assembly to raise the renewal fee to 45 dollars. florida is a 7yr permit now and utah is a 5yr. I have both but in the end it's almost about the same.

Get the best of both worlds. You do not necessarily need an NRA course to apply for Florida. You simply need a handgun safety course taught by an NRA certified instructor. There is a difference.

We are doing a Utah permit course in Ebensburg, Pa on March 13. With that class, you can apply for a Utah permit and we also give an extra certificate that you can use to apply for a Florida permit, since that class meets the Florida requirement. - - http://forum.pafoa.org/training-cour...nsburg-pa.html
