Has anyone done business with Tony's Custom Uppers?
Has anyone had any experience with Tony's Custom Uppers from Delta, OH? I bought an AR-15 upper from him at the valley forge gun show back on fathers day. Got it home and let it sit for a while. Finally pulled it out of the sleeve and noticed there was a huge metal chink in the barrel!
I called them and asked them if they'd take it in return and they didn't call back. Called them a couple more times (I think three times total.) Then I faxed them my formal request. No response after a month!
I had no choice but to call up mastercard and ask them to dispute the charge. If they had gotten back to me at all I would not have had to do that.
Not sure if any of you have dealt with him prior, but I was just wondering what the experiences were and if you got any kind of support from them if you had an issue with your purchase.
Any comments helpful (PS -- I know it was stupid of me not to inspect the barrel at the gun show. I've been kicking myself about it ever since)
Thanks,
Pete
