Default Black Hat Training Corps - Tactical Carbine 1 Day Course

Black Hat Training Corps is running a one day tactical carbine course at LRGC on March 20th.

    Details and registration:

    http://bhtcorps.com/032010reg.html

Round count will be 200 to 250, and will focus on defensive handling skills and personal protection as opposed to competition improvement. Elements covered include:

This is a non-intimidating environment, and newer students who want to build their learning in defensive or tactical shooting skills with strong fundamentals are welcome.

    # Basic Handling skills (loading, reloading techniques, press-checks, malfunction clearing)
    # BRM Review (Basic Rifle Marksmanship)
    # Zeroing - Where to zero, and why
    # Equipment choices
    # Properly organizing and laying out your loadout
    # Stance, presentation, maintaining SA and control before, during, and after target engagement
    # Multidirectional engagement drills from both standing and kneeling
    # Shooting positions, including Urban/Rice Paddy/SBU/Rollover prone variations
    # Making the most of cover
    # Effective cornering with a carbine
    # Rapid Engagement drills
    # Transitioning to support side, and making it work
    # Shooting effectively on the move

I can work with other platforms than the AR15 without difficulty. Kalashnikov and (lawd have mussy) eurotrash carbines are quite welcome ;-)

Please inquire if you have any questions. If you want references, please do go ahead and ask right here. We have an excellent referral rate and always good reviews. Questions about the course, gear suitability, curriculum, etc. are entertained at http://BHTCorps@gmail.com.

I might try and make this one. I have to see what other courses I plan on taking during the year, I might be able to allocate some of my training funds.

Come on down! The water is warm. :-)

The course fee is the same across the board on this one, except that I would put out a $20 LE/MIL discount.

On the BHTcorps website, March 20 at LRGC is listed as a One-Day Kalashnikov Training Course. Is this the same thing? Will he be doing specifics related to AKs?

I have limited mobility due to a knee replacement. Not old just a hard life. Will you be offering this course later in the year?
