Nice. I just put one on layaway at my local shop, the swat model.

Have you fired it yet, and how was it.

I love mine. I have probably put about 1K of rounds (mix of Prvi's copy of m193 and a little bit of Wolf, Winchester, and Remington 55 gr.) through it and never had a problem.

The CAA grip/light is ok, but is was a gift so I am going to use it till I get a replacement.

I haven't done much with the 556 yet. All I really did was swap the Sig red dot with the rear sight and the ACOG. I do have one complaint about the rifle, the handguard. IMO the entire handguard assembly has too much play.

No not really, but an extension did come with it. I would call it a recoil pad but its hard plastic. Compared to the one thats on the rifle now it probably gives an extra inch to the stock.
