Looking for Army/Navy store...
... in or directly around Schuylkill county.
I wasn't sure if I should post this in the "shops" topic or not...
But the ones I used to know of, are now closed down. Does anyone happen to know of any good ones near here yet?
I'm just looking for anything local, I don't want to drive 2 hours to save a couple bucks on something I might as well just order online then. But it is nice to hit up the store itself...III%

Re: Looking for Army/Navy store...
This may be a bit of a drive, but there used to be one in Coatesville right on route 30 in the center of town. I bought a pair of Chinese knockoff jungle boots from them. This was about 4 or 5 years ago though. They may be defunct by now as well.

Re: Looking for Army/Navy store...
Yea, I usually hit up the locals and Cabelas... I just wanted to find a place with milsurp stuff... It sucks that a lot of them have closed in recent years.
There's one about 20 minutes from my place, but they haven't gotten anything new in for the last 10 years. No offense to them, but it's pretty much all junk anymore.

There used to be one on Grape St. in Whithall, just across from the Lehigh Valley mall. As far as I know they're still there.
Net search shows their number as (610) 266-1045

Re: Looking for Army/Navy store...
There is Coleman's, just off of 209 about 10 miles west of Lykens.
I recently bought some stuff at Top Gun on Main street in Palmyra and can definitly recommend this store.
I've found that a great way to locate buisnesses is to bring up a google map of the area you're looking in and just type what you're looking for in the search bar at the top, where you would type an address. I used "military surplus" as a search term for this.

That's one where I used to go. But most of the stuff they have is older, and hasn't moved in years. I surely hope they start getting newer stuff in. It's been depressing.

The one on Grape Street is still there.
Picked up a couple cases of primers a few weeks ago.
