best fiber optic sights for XDm

Hey all,

I am looking for an INEXPENSIVE upgrade to my XDm sights. I spent too much money on new toys for my Bushmaster, but I want to see if I cant get a better set of sights for my other SHTF gun (XDm).

Any advice? links are always appreciated also.

I just recently got a pistol with a fiber front sight. Dont be fooled into thinking its anything like a nightsight. If its dark its dark. even at twilight time its pretty dark. and that is with an inch of exposed fiber. Im thinking you can get a decent set of nite sites for 60$.

Have you put any thought into laser sights? I recently got a crimson trace laser for my Glock 26 and I love it. I paid $175 for it.

thanks guys, but as Asmodeus pointed out, the key here is INEXPENSIVE.....

Like sub-$40 range. If I wanted NS, I would just go get some at a local shop. I simply want better sights for playing around at the range with.

They have those uber cheap ebay zone 3 night sights around $60. I know this is still outside of your $40 budget but might be an option. I think the Hi-viz and truglo FO sights are also going to be out of your budget as well. At least any that I have seen are more than $40.

You could maybe make your own though? This place sells the fibers.

And if the stock sights are cheap enough maybe grab an extra set, drill'em out and put the fibers through? Might be too ghetto?

Stock Glock fixed sight sets are like <$10 so I considered trying it. But I think I might just get TruGlo TFO's instead.

Novak sights just released one. I have the front sight on my USPSA gun and was waiting for them to make one for my XDM. I think the front sight is 34.95 and they can install for $15 + return shipping.
