1st Date with my XD40

After a few years of not shooting much at all, aside from the occasional cabin trips with buddies, I finally broke down and got a new one of my own again. Figures I picked it up the day before all the snow started.. but boys will be boys I guess, I couldn't resist the temptation so out I ventured through 2-1/2' of snow to the public range.

1 shot at 50 yards.

Afterwards I went over to Perry Township Gun Club with my step father for a little closer target shooting (and no 3 round limit).

8 quick shots at 25 yards, not bad IMHO.

So all in all it was a very good "1st date". I love the accuracy of this gun, even with my lack of practice it made me look, well "ok". I look forward to more dates!

awesome bro!...I still love that color combo, I'll definitely come visit with the kids this spring or summer for sure and we can go blast some stuff!...lol
